Brannon became friends with the son of famous actor, Glenn Ford, after Peter Ford read Brannon‘s 1993 book and had him on his radio show several times. To Brannon’s surprise, after reading Brannon‘s book, Mr. Ford sent Brannon this autographed picture in the mail. Glenn Ford was one of Brannon‘s favorite actors since he was a child, watching him in star in some of Brannon’s favorite, cowboy movies and war movies such as Midway.
